Activities
Monday
1. Quiz #9: vocabulary and The Circuit (based on the study guide and the reading check)
2. Distribute the Prince and the Pauper vocabulary packet and study guide handout.

Tuesday
Use The Prince and the Pauper vocabulary words in sentences. Identify each part of the sentence by writing S for subject, V for verb, DO for direct object, IO for indirect object, PA for predicate adjective, and PN for predicate nominative. Write te labels on top of each part.

Wednesday
FILM VIEWING: "O Brother Where Art Thou"
Work on parallel assignment. Find parallels in the film and text- Odyssey.

Thursday
1. Write an ending to The Circuit after the novel ended in chapter 12. What happened to Panchito and his family when they were deported back to Mexico?
2. Find examples of the following: simile, metaphor, character/characterization, setting, conflict, and theme. The examples have to be quotes. Provide one (1) example for each.

Friday
1. Short Activity- Select read alterantive ending to The Circuit.
2. Read background from study guide.
3. Distribute and explain reading schedule for PP. Read first two chapters.
